Helmar Schramm

09.11.2007 | Helmar Schramm je od leta 1998 profesor gledaliških študij na berlinski Freie Universität. Svojo znanstveno pot je začel leta 1981 na berlinski Humboldt Universität, za tem je delal na Akademiji znanosti in na Inštitutu Maxa Plancka v Berlinu. Od leta 1995 do 1998 je bil profesor na oddelku gledaliških študij na Univerzi v Leipzigu. Med tem je sodeloval na številnih mednarodnih konferencah v ZDA, Mehiki, Južni Afriki, Rusiji, Nizozemski, Finski, Švici in Avstriji. Zadnji dve leti deluje tudi kot gostujoči profesor na tajski univerzi Chiang Mai. V zadnjem času je organiziral številne mednarodne konference, nazadnje z naslovom: Traces of the Avant-garde: Theatrum Machinarum (2005), Traces of the Avant-garde: Theatrum Anatomicum (2006) in z nadaljevanjem Traces of the Avant-garde: Theatrum Alchemicum v letu 2007. Pri svojem raziskovanju se osredotoča na medsebojne relacije med znanostjo in zgodovino umetnosti, gledališčem avantgarde in performativne obrate pod vplivom modernih medijskih sistemov.
