Matjaž Berger

Matjaž Berger (1964, Novo Mesto) is a theatre director and since 2006 director and art director of Anton Podbešek Theater, first professional theatre in Novo Mesto. He graduated in 1989 on Epistemological problems of Shakespeare's Hamlet (Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television Ljubljana, department of dramaturgy). A year later he directed his diploma performance "Recht" (Brecht) in Glej Theater. From 2003 to 2006 he was a director of Slovenian Youth Theatre.
