Matej Kejžar (1974) completed his studies at the Amsterdamse Hooger School for Kunst, programme School For New Dance Development. After graduation, Kejžar entered the postgraduate programme X-Group at P.A.R.T.S. In 1997, he spent one semester at Trisha Brown Dance School in New York, where he occasionally worked in administration for the Movement Research Studios. As a dancer, Kejžar participated in numerous projects at home and abroad. As a choreographer, he entered the Slovene scene in 1998 with his project DisTanca (Dance Theatre Ljubljana). In 1999, he created PiPeF (DTL), in 2000, the project In This Game … (DTL). Afterwards, he created As You Can See It’s Not About That (2001, Maska), At Senses At Times (2002, Maska), Temporary Autonomous Zone (2004, Exodos, KD Serum, Cankarjev dom), Senser (2004, Exodos, KD Qulenium, Dance Theatre Ljubljana), Simultaneous (2006, Exodos), D&G Show: The New Burlesque (2006), Little Red Riding Hood – All the Better To See With You (2007, Emanat).
